However, in certain cases, this deadline has been extended until <strong>1 March 2027<\/strong>. This means that you may have to wait longer than expected for your tax refund or final tax assessment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have received such a letter from the Belastingdienst, <strong>there is no need to worry and no action is required on your part<\/strong>. It does not mean that there is a problem with your tax return; it simply means that the Dutch Tax Administration needs more time to process it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If additional information is required, the Belastingdienst will contact you directly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are also monitoring the situation and will, of course, keep you informed as soon as new information becomes available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
